# CreateAssetGroup

> Create an asset group to organize assets.

Requests must be signed with HMAC-SHA256. See [Authentication and conventions](https://docs-vip.apigo.ai/en/api-reference/endpoints/seedance/asset-overview.md#authentication).

## Request parameters

**Name** `string` *required*

Group name, up to 64 characters. Names are not unique; creating with the same name returns a different group ID.

**Description** `string`

Group description, up to 300 characters.

**GroupType** `string` (default: AIGC)

Group type. Only `AIGC` is allowed. Real-person groups (`LivenessFace`) are created automatically by [liveness verification](https://docs-vip.apigo.ai/en/api-reference/endpoints/seedance/asset-overview.md#real-person-assets).

**ProjectName** `string`

Pass `default` or omit.

## Response parameters

**Result.Id** `string`

Asset group ID.
